Venture North Supporting Businesses through Funding & Development

Venture North, a Community Development Financial Institution, assists under-resourced business owners and entrepreneurs by securing and deploying capital and technical support throughout the 10-county Northwest Michigan region that includes Leelanau.

Recently, Laura Galbraith, President of Venture North and Board Member of Leelanau Peninsula Economic Foundation (LPEF) presented to the LPEF board and Leelanau Recovery Team (LRT) the various programs available to area businesses. Also included are the several Leelanau businesses that were awarded grants through the Regional Resiliency Program initiated by Venture North during the pandemic.
